April 22nd to 25th
It was another short week for us due to the Easter holiday, but we certainly didn’t lack excitement! We kicked things off with our daily Bible stories and devotionals, setting a meaningful tone for the week. From there, we dove into language and math skills, keeping our minds engaged and learning. Midmorning brought energy and fun as our clients participated in a lively Zumba workout led by our incredible volunteer, Mary S. The afternoon was all about community, with our clients enjoying time at Independence Park and Pioneer Park, making the most of every moment.
The Cup of Grace crew was hard at work Wednesday morning—thank you to everyone who came out to support them! Meanwhile, our clients started their day with a great gym workout, followed by an energizing exercise video—a fantastic way to stay active!
On Wednesday afternoon, Miss Angela led her group on an adventure through the city of Franklin, exploring its sights. Later, they joined the other clients at Mount Pleasant Community Life Center, where they shot hoops and walked the track. Staying active is what we’re all about!
Thursday is a celebration of music here! Our clients get to showcase their talents by singing and dancing during music class—it’s always a delight to see their enthusiasm and energy.
Later in the afternoon, some ventured to Otte Family Fun Center for an exciting round of miniature golf, enjoying friendly competition and fun. Meanwhile, those who hadn’t yet visited Mount Pleasant Community Life Center took the opportunity to play basketball and walk the track.
On Friday, those who hadn’t yet visited the Indianapolis Zoo set off on their community trip for an exciting adventure. Meanwhile, those who stayed back enjoyed a fun-filled day, playing games, solving puzzles, watching a movie, and getting creative with a craft.
Keep an eye out for our next adventure—exciting things are coming!
